The bill for divorce was filed in February 1870, by Mary E. Baucum (Elizabeth Tyson Hooper). Depositions were taken from her mother, Sally Sparks Tyson Webb, referred to as 'Sary', and stepfather David T. Webb, in March 1870. The divorce was decreed on April 7th 1870 in the April term of the Circuit Court at Dover, Pope County, Arkansas.
